Demo Instructions

Use the demo role buttons on the landing page to enter. This page is shared with Live instructions later — it will switch based on user and settings.

1) Enter the demo (one‑click login)

  1. On the landing page, choose a Demo Role button (example: Shelter Admin Demo).
  2. If prompted, read and accept the Demo User Agreement (first time per browser/device).
  3. You’ll go straight into the dashboard — no password needed.

2) Best things to try first

A) Add a Pet

  1. Click Add a Pet.
  2. Enter name/type, chip/tag details, status, and notes.
  3. Save, then confirm under My Pets.

B) Lost & Found + QR code

  1. Click Lost & Found.
  2. Create a Lost or Found post with contact info and description.
  3. Submit and view the generated QR code.

C) TNR / Recovery checkout (price change PIN)

  1. Click TNR / Recovery.
  2. Select services/add‑ons and review totals.
  3. To override a price, use the demo PIN: 0000.

D) View Calendar

Open calendar items to see how reminders and appointments connect to pets and workflows.

3) Switching roles

  1. Click Log out.
  2. Choose a different demo role on the landing page.
  3. Compare dashboards and permissions.

4) Notes

  • This is a demo environment. Demo data may reset periodically.
  • Don’t enter sensitive personal information.

Admin preview tips: add ?hc_mode=live to preview Live instructions later, or ?hc_mode=demo to force demo view.
